Flotsam Sketches

This work marks one of the many impacts of Covid on my life as an artist. Like many, I was forced to stay home and limit my social activities. I also became bored and focused my attentions on mundane household duties - namely, cleaning, organizing and purging unused things. Foraging through my belongs, I found I inherited some of my parents' temperaments toward hoarding. Why do we do it? Save small bits and pieces? These works represent some of the tiny flotsam I collected..... the things I forgot, the things I remembered, the things I no longer use, the things that were magically reinvented into a new life.
